Did You know...?

The largest piece of amber ever found was discovered in Liepaja, in western Latvia. It was 123 cm long and weighed 60 kilograms.

The Bauska region is situated at Zemgale plain near the Lithuanian border. Fertile soil and favorable climate have contributed to the development of agriculture. Tourists may find the cultural heritage of the region most interesting.
